Education is supposed to be the great equalizer - if you work hard enough you should be rewarded. But the reality is not like that. And I started my Youtube channel to do something about that. It’s why the majority of my material is free for anyone who wants it.
Standardized testing in the US, where GRE scores are required the most, was born during WWI to separate soldiers by race - a bias that still exists. Research on the current GRE also suggests that certain groups, such as women and underrepresented minorities, on average score lower than white and Asian-American men not necessarily because of their innate ability. While the relationship between scores and performance in grad school is unclear, it is unquestionable that GRE resources are unaffordable for many people. I am committed to doing what I can to provide free and reduced price GRE education for those that need it.
