I have always thought that teaching and tutoring are incredibly rewarding, and I started making tutoring videos as part of my Girl Scout Gold Award in high school. After deciding that I wanted to get my Masters of Public Health, I was told I needed a GRE score to apply - and only had two weeks to study! I got together everything I could and dedicated my time fully to preparing and earned a 162 in Verbal, 170 perfect score in Quantitative, and 5.5 in Writing in March 2019. Since then I have been periodically making GRE videos, working with GRE students, and working towards providing both free and paid GRE resources for anyone planning to take the test!

Being able to work on issues like education and equity mean a lot to me. That’s why most of the information and wisdom I have picked up in my studies and teaching are all available for free on this website and on my Youtube channel. It’s also why I am adding a social mission to Alice Chen GRE, so that I can ensure that I am actively working towards making the world a more equitable place. In my free time I enjoy traveling, playing video games, spending time with people I care about, and learning new things.
